Many employers mistakenly accept a voluntary resignation, post-injury, as the end of service and the end of liability. Often, the desired result does not deliver the expected consequence. Employers, including if not particularly School Districts need to evaluate their internal protocol for resignation and separation to confirm that all ancillary issues are appropriately resolved, and exposure extinguished. In this webinar we will explore the pitfalls that exist for employer Districts when an employee resigns, post-injury.
We will analyze internal process and responsibilities for address of rights under Workers’ Compensation, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act and Benefits. We will provide best practice tips to insure proper communication and resolution of all outstanding liability.
